As an ice breaker I am here to inform you about the wonderful world of nutrition and all the benefits it can bring you. Throughout most of my college life I struggled with my weight. I did not worry about this in high school being that I played sports and I could essentially eat what I wanted, when I wanted and not have to worry about gaining weight. That soon stopped once I started college. I decided to take up nutrition and food science as my minor just to gain a little bit of background knowledge on the subject. It changed my life for the best. Since then I have dropped 30 pounds and I am living an overall healthier lifestyle. I am not going to lecture you about boring facts or make meal plans for anyone. I’m simply going to broaden your horizon and give you some tips and how to be a healthier you. I’ll give you a few facts and studies here and there, but my overall goal is to show you that there is more to life than just pizza and French fries. I promise you will thank me after following my journey.
